    Challenge

    Shepherd Center sought a visual design for its Understanding Brain and Spinal Cord Injury educational DVD series. To accommodate multiple partners, the DVD series required a neutral look and feel.

    Role

    I created a unified look and feel across:

    • Two DVD package designs
    • 20-page educational booklets for each video
    • Marketing materials
    • Companion website

    Designed original abstract images of the brain and spinal cord for each video and enhanced existing medical illustrations. The color palette conveyed trustworthiness, reliability, and calmness. Designed clear typography and layouts to support complex information. Maintained consistent design across print and digital materials.

    Outcome

    The project reinforced Shepherd Center’s role as a trusted authority and made complex information more approachable for patients and families.
